There is a long list of Pay TV providers who have integrated studio D2C services, and the same studio apps are also available on connected TV platforms like Samsung, Roku and Fire TV. We want to know what a studio expects from a platform partner when it expands its direct-to-consumer offering globally, and how deep those partnerships can become. How can platforms help a studio and channel group surface its content and acquire new D2C subscribers, and what is the value-add that a studio D2C provides in Pay TV homes where people already enjoy the linear channel brands from the same company? We want to know the impact of D2C in Pay TV homes so far – and whether super-serving the super-fans can expand total television ARPU.
