Phillip Luff is General Manager, Product and Distribution for Marquee TV, leading global streaming service for performing arts fans. Luff has over 30 years experience in executive, non-executive and advisory roles internationally, including MD UK/ EMEA for Scripps Networks International, and SVP or Discovery Networks International. Luff is skilled at setting strategy for sustainable business growth, creating and leading high performance teams, organisational transformation and change management.
Luff is also an award-winning content creator, with experience in commissioning, acquisition, co-production, content distribution, AFP and brand partnerships. He has commissioned or co-produced award winning programming such as the world’s first multi-platform drama series, Fat Cow Motel (Hoodlum), feature film Ocean Voyagers (Feodor Pitcairn/ Off The Fence), Meerkat Manor (Oxford Scientific Films), Amba The Russian Tiger (Mike Birkhead Associates) and Paul Hollywood City Bakes (Reef Television).
After graduating from University of Sydney with a BA and LLB degrees, Luff initially worked as a commercial litigation lawyer for Colin Biggers & Paisley and Gilbert + Tobin, before starting his career in television with Liberty Media Group and FOX Sports Australia.
