Jeroen co-founded Metrological in 2005 and has successfully grown the company into the world’s leading application framework provider and a leading innovator and contributor of open-source solutions for the pay-TV industry.

Metrological’s customer base consists of tier one cable and telecommunications companies, reaching more than 40 million households worldwide. The company is a proud supplier of Liberty Global and a winner of the Cable Europe Innovation Award for its work with UPC Hungary.

Prior to founding Metrological, Jeroen was an executive at Rabobank ICT, a large financial services provider, most recently services as project-leader and program-manager. He successfully led projects including Rabobank Internet Banking (introducing the world’s first online payment system) and an implementation of Siebel (a CRM-system).

Jeroen attended LIACS, the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science in The Netherlands. He is a sought-after industry speaker, specializing in the topics of integrated user experiences and app monetization strategies. Jeroen was recently named one of Cablefax’s Most Innovative People in Multiscreen.
