SVP Commerical, | Piksel
Clive Malcher is responsible for driving commercial growth and awareness of the company in key broadcast, telecommunications and cable markets in the region. With a 20-year career in the digital and television space, in both technology and product innovation, Clive joined Piksel from UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5.
Clive has an impressive track record of employing emerging technologies to deliver commercially successful and transformational products and services for a host of leading media organisations in the UK. This is evident in his tenure at Channel 5, where he was responsible for the technical strategy and delivery across the company’s digital activities, focusingon online and OTT distribution of programming. Clive spent four years at Channel 5, first in the role of Head of Product Development and Technology, and then as Head of Technology and Operations.
As a senior executive, Clive has also worked at News Corp’s publisher, HarperCollins, where he led the transformation from a traditional print business by building out its digital publishing operations, and at ITV, where he took the UK’s top commercial network onto the web and mobile for the first time.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science degree in music technology from the University of York.
