Networking and Conference

Everything you need for Connected TV in 2012, in one place

The Connected TV Summit is the No.1 event  focused on the strategic challenges and opportunities presented by post-convergence TV, covering connected and hybrid broadcast broadband TV, second-screen and multi-screen TV over two days of top-level debate and presentations. Now in our third year, we have moved to a venue that allows you to conduct all your networking and business in one place, including private meetings and demonstrations onsite.

More of everything at our new venue

This year’s Connected TV Summit will be at One Wimple Street, London. This is one of the best venues in London and provides more space for meetings, more seating and quiet, private meeting rooms, as well as space for product demo s. There are two state-of-the-art conference rooms where we will be hosting the main conference, breakfast briefings and breakout sessions as we aim to deliver the maximum amount of thought leadership and strategic/market/business insights possible. After delegate feedback last year, the panel debates will be longer and even more interactive this year.

More debate, more chance to have your say

Anyone who attended the Future TV Advertising Forum in December (also produced by Videonet) will have seen the high-level and sometimes robust debates on our extended panel sessions, and the extent of audience participation. We are bringing the same format to Connected TV Summit 2012 and to encourage even more interaction we will be conducting live audience polls (anonymous) about key points raised during the discussions. This feature is possible thanks to smart audience voting technology. Each conference room has separate screens for presentations and a live Twitter feed.

Everything you need under one roof

The new venue makes it easier to do business at Connected TV Summit, with more seating for meetings, including  private and inexpensive meeting rooms. Whether you are a delegate or sponsor/vendor, you and your team can stay on site throughout the event.  Everything is in one place including the networking party. The conference rooms, refreshments, lunch, exhibition and networking space are located in one main area, focused around a fantastic glass atrium. If you want to bring your team and/or host private meetings, contact justin[AT]hubblemedia.co.uk to book a room.

Content is king!

Above everything, this event is about the quality of the conference. With two full days dedicated to post-convergence TV and nothing else, including  breakfast briefings and breakout sessions, all the key subjects will be covered. The extended panel debates provide more time to investigate subjects. To make it easier to ask questions and offer viewpoints, all 250 seats in the main auditorium are fitted with personal microphones. The conference rooms are very comfortable – including leather seats! The whole conference is filmed in HD with high quality lighting and audio. You also get the chance to ‘kick the tyres’ thanks to a selection of world leading demos in the Connected TV space.

Networking Party

Following the success of the 2011 networking drinks and party, we will host the 2012 party in the atrium. Do join us at 5:30 for free drinks and food and to discuss the day’s events with your industry peers.

Breakfast Briefings and Breakouts

For early risers we will be hosting breakfast briefings in partnership with analysts, consultants and vendors. The main conference will ‘break out’ once each day so we can run parallel sessions on key topics.

Connected TV Awards, including The Companion Screen Prize

Now in their second year, the Connected TV Awards will be hosted at Connected TV Summit 2012. The categories this year are ‘Outstanding Connected TV Service’  ‘Outstanding Technology Innovation’ and ‘The Companion Screen Prize’.
