Matthias Krömer, Head of Marketing, Video & Connected Home,Vodafone

dan saundersMatthias serves as Head of Marketing in Vodafone’s Home TV Competence Centre. In this role, he assumes global responsibility for the TV customer proposition and product management, with a particular focus on usability and interaction design. Over the past 18 months, Matthias built a diverse Marketing team of domain experts and oversaw the development of Vodafone TV from its inception to launch in February 2011.

In previous roles, Matthias gained a strong track record in developing and marketing innovative product propositions across all 3 screens: mobile, PC and TV. Fluent in 3 languages, he worked in Vodafone operating companies in Germany and France (SFR) as well as the global headquarter in London, UK.
 
A native German, Matthias holds an MBA from Henley Management College, UK and a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen Technical University, complemented by research at  École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Paris and University of California, Irvine.
