Olivier Van Wynendaele, Senior Manager, Product Planning and Business Development for Consumer Products, Toshiba

olivier van wynendaeleOlivier has 20 years of business and marketing experience working across two very successful global brands – Philip Morris and Toshiba. Olivier is currently Senior Manager, Product Planning and Business Development for Consumer Products at Toshiba Europe GmbH and has been with the Company for 17 years.

He started his present role in October 2005 in Toshiba’s European digital consumer products’ team, managing product planning and strategy while coordinating efforts between Europe and Japan. After having led the promotion and marketing activities of the HD DVD format throughout Europe until March 2008, he currently focuses on building up Toshiba’s strategy in Connected TV and new digital devices.

Prior to this role, Olivier had various posts at Toshiba Systemes in France. He gained valuable sales and marketing experience as a product manager, business manager and senior marketing manager across a number of Toshiba divisions. In 2003, Olivier became the senior marketing manager for Toshiba’s Consumer Products Division in France, which then led to his current appointment.

He completed a degree in Marketing and Strategy from the French Business School at the Institut Supérieur du Commerce in Paris. He speaks fluent French and English
